With the sale of the contents of the Battle of Minden in 1830, I think that’s one candidate off the table (“is now carried on”).
Quote
TO LET, with immediate Possession,—A respectable FREE PUBLIC HOUSE or TAVERN, situate within a few miles from Portsmouth, on the London Road.—For particulars apply (of by letter, post-paid) to Mr. John Winsom, Auctioneer and Estate Agent, 12, Cumberland-street, Portsea.
N.B.—Considerable Business in the Spirit Trade is now carried on.

Question
Does the fact that it’s a freehouse discount any potential candidates?
Note
The agent (John Winsom) is also responsible for an attempt to let a pub nine months later in Oct 1835. It seems likely it’s the same pub.
