SALISBURY, February 25.
The 16th Inst. William Dickman, an old offender, was committed to Winchester gaol, for Horsestealing, and John Stiles and John Barnes, for stealing bar iron, from John Stewart, Esq; at Wymering, Hants.
The 18th, John Salter was committed to the same gaol, for robbing and defrauding his master Mr. Andrews, of Havant, of a considerable quantity of strong beer.
We hear there are now in the above gaol no less than fourscore prisoners; fifty of them felons, in a most miserable starving condition.
